Process

Everything exceptional starts with intention.

We begin with a preliminary discussion to determine whether we should collaborate. From project inception, we listen carefully to learn more about who you are, how you live, work and play, and what you value in the built environment. We will agree on the scope of the project, talk about budget, priorities and how best to use your resources. We will answer your questions and ask more of our own. We will take photographs, measurements, lots of notes and begin mapping out a strategy for your space. We will also agree on the degree of project management.

We will develop an actionable plan that addresses your goals. We will make determinations for the space, work out detailing, design any kitchens, baths, details and built-ins, and select materials and finishes.

We will also identify and purchase furniture, custom pieces, lighting and objects including artworks and collectibles, and problem solve any issues that arise.

We recognize that an interior designer is an integral facet of a collaborative team that makes lasting architectural space. We can help identify and/or collaborate with accomplished professionals, tradespeople and artisans. Upon agreement, this can include scheduling and coordinating, and appropriate project management.

Each piece of your project will contribute to its overall livability; the moment of reveal is nothing compared to knowing you have years to enjoy your new space. We value your opinions and ideas about our process and will work to make it a positive stress-free experience.
